Yesterday's scheduled fourth round of the Sixty Ball Shootout was postponed after it was established that a Vesturbær player had tested positive for coronavirus. The Icelandic Cricket Association adopted a caution-first approach and decided to call off the matches while further tests were carried out on other players as a precaution.
"The whole Vesturbær team gave samples today and are all in quarantine," said Sampath Kumar, the captain. Results will be forthcoming on Thursday and Friday, and a decision has yet to be made regarding the future playing schedule.
